Title: Dark Arts and a Daiquiri

Author: Annette Marie

Blurb: When I found myself facing down the scariest black-magic felon in the city, practically daring him to abduct me, I had to wonder exactly how I ended up here.

It all started when I accidentally landed a job as a bartender–but not at a bar. At a guild, populated by mages, sorcerers, alchemists, witches, and psychics. Good thing this lame-o human is adaptable, right?

Then my favorite guild members–three sexy, powerful, and intermittently charming mages–asked for my help. Did they want access to my encyclopedic knowledge of cocktails? Oh no. They wanted to wrap me up in a pretty ribbon and plunk me in the crosshairs of a murderous rogue to lure him out of hiding.

So that’s what we did. And that’s why I’m here. About to be kidnapped. Oh, and our grand plan for safely capturing said murderous rogue? Yeah, that completely fell apart about two minutes ago.

Why did I agree to this again?

Title: A Thunder of War

Author: Steve McHugh

Blurb: There’s thunder on the horizon, and the lightning of war is about to strike.

After years of struggle, Layla Cassidy has finally mastered the dark powers that threatened to control her and turned them to good. She’s ready to fight, but the next battle will be her greatest test yet.

The forces of Avalon are growing ever stronger, reinforcing their dominance with almighty displays of brutality. When Abaddon comes close to crushing Layla and her friends, it’s clear that the thunder of war is about to give way to lightning—and that they have no chance of surviving it alone.

The final battle against Abaddon is drawing closer. Now Layla and her friends must fight for themselves—and the future of the world. To win, they will need every power and ally they can muster. But even with all their strength, will it be enough to stand against the impending doom?

Title: The Silver Chalice

Author: SA Magnusson

Blurb: The Veil should protect our world from the dangers on the other side.

Now that I’ve negotiated my safety with the fae, I should be safe—even when crossing to the other side of the Veil. Protected by the strange magic in the Taker of Spells, I no longer worry as I once did.

When alerted to power moving along one of the ley lines and forced to uncover the cause, I’m once again pitted against the fae. Struggling to stay a step ahead means discovering more about the chalice, but those who might know are the same ones chasing me.

Not only the fae want it. Others with dangerous power come after me to take it from me. As I learn what the chalice can do, I begin to understand that no one should have that kind of power.

The Taker of Spells can’t destroy it. I can’t return it. And I’m struggling to keep ahead of everyone after it.

Title: Dragon Blood

Author: Alicia Wolfe

Blurb: Not long ago, Jade McClaren was a half-shifter and a thief. Now she’s working with the Fae Lords to police the supernatural elements of New York City, sometimes having to go up against her old allies. Her partner is Lord Davril Stormguard, a Fae and former king, but now badass cop, and their relationship has gotten . . . complicated. Meanwhile a great darkness is brewing — the Shadow. It drove the Fae Lords out of the Fae Lands, and now it’s coming to our world.

If that weren’t bad enough, the Fae Lords have broken with each other. The prince of the realm and his followers, estranged from the Queen, are on the run somewhere in Manhattan. When Jade and her partner Davril Stormguard encounter him, they learn that he may hold the secret to stopping the Shadow. But he has a price.

Can the Queen meet that price, and what will happen if she does? It all leads to a beautiful place known as the Floating Gardens, a giant park-like resort that hovers over New York. But as soon as Jade and Davril arrive in paradise, things start to go wrong. When murder and violence spread through the resort, only they can stop it — if they can work out their own problems first.

Title: Druid Vengeance

Author: M.D. Massey

Blurb: I’ve seen a lot of crazy stuff since I got clued into the paranormal world. Cannibalistic giants. Necromancers who could raise armies of the undead. Evil nature deities with an appetite for destruction. Old gods, and new.

But nothing prepared me for seeing the world descend into an undead apocalypse, in a future so bleak it gives me chills just telling you about it. Millions of lives, gone in the blink of an eye, and millions more turned into zombies, ghouls, revenants, and vampires.

In that future, humans are no longer at the top of the food chain. I know this because I was there. This crazy fae chronomancer took me there, right after my girlfriend broke up with me by throwing me through the windshield of a rare and expensive British sports car.

And it wasn’t even my car—I’d borrowed it from my best frenemy, Crowley.

Worst. Day. Ever.

The good news is, that future hasn’t happened yet. But it damn sure will come to pass, if I don’t find a way to stop it.

Now I’m chasing after a mad, power-hungry magician who stole an artifact so deadly, it was once used to kill a god. This jackass is in league with a coven of evil vampires, and I have it on good authority that they’re the ones who trigger the apocalypse.

So, all I have to do is fight my way through an army of deadly, elder vamps, and wrench one of the world’s most destructive magic artifacts from a wizard so powerful, he makes me look like a two-bit street magician.

Plus I have to find a way to get my girlfriend back, all while the clock is ticking on a countdown to Armageddon.

I wonder, do they sell apocalypse insurance? Because the way things are looking, I might just want to take out a policy…

Title: Celestial Storm

Author: Emma L. Adams

Blurb: The end is here for Devi Lawson…

Devi may have killed the arch-demon Lythocrax, but in the process, something much worse has been unleashed.

The Divine Agents, rogue angels, have given Devi an ultimatum: join them, or watch Earth crumble to ashes. Preparing for war would be difficult enough without the nether realms getting involved, but two demonic overlords would like a piece of Devi, too. Meanwhile, her warlock partner Nikolas fights a battle of his own, for leadership over earth’s warlocks.

And in the background, an old enemy might not be as dead as Devi thinks.

The celestials want her as their saviour. The demons want her dead. The rebel angels want the worlds to burn. And to save the ones she loves, Devi must make an impossible choice…
